Re: Setting the automatic driver seat position.

Assuming you have set a memory position for one of the numbered positions. Open drivers door, press and hold the particular memory button you wish to associate with the key you opened the car with. within 3 secs push the "open" button on the key. a beep will sound to confirm position is saved. Each ...

Re: Se tec first edition tyres

Are they Run Flats, I’ve never heard that. I had them on all my BMWs but didn’t know VW used them too The tyres on my Terraco are Continental "Contiseal". They are not runflats as per your BMW. The inside of the tyre has a layer of sealant that closes any nail hole etc up to (they say) 5mm dia. "Ru...

Re: Seat memory - can’t work it out!

I have mine set so that when either my wife or myself unlock the car with their own individual key then when we open the door the seat moves to suit the setting for that particular user. If that does not work for you and I'm not sure why it wouldn't the alternative is to open the door and just press...

Mine included all the tools too, just misses the Seat insert
If you got the tools as well then that's a great price. The insert is not required or existing one could be cut down to suit.

Re: Spare Wheel Kit - Part No: ZGBBOM180SE

I bought a genuine VW Oone from thewheelshop for£150. You don’t get the extra polystyrene inserts though but you save over £100 From Seat DirectParts ,co,uk they quote £220 for the wheels kit which comes with the polystyrene inserts and the jack etc. I bought from a Dealer which may provide a cheap...

Re: Oil grade for 2l petrol

I was in at the Dealer today on another matter and at the time asked what was the correct oil for both my 2.0TSI Terraco and my wife's 1.0 TSI Arona. I was told that the latest oil was the Castrol Edge Professional ref: LL IV FE 0W-20. It references VW 508 00/ 509 00. The same oil is correct for bot...

Spare Wheel Kit - Part No: ZGBBOM180SE

Not sure if anyone is going to 'retro' fit a spare wheel but I have just fitted one today. Kit obtained from local Dealer who had one in stock. Before you start remove the boot tray and the cross bar section at the rear of the seats. it just slides up. Photo One shows the original polystyrene mouldi...

Re: Noisy Windscreen Wipers

Ive recently replaced the front two blades with Bosch Aerotwin, ref: AP26U for the drivers side and AP22U for the passenger. Huge difference, so quiet. I could not find a reference for the rear wiper which was very judders and noisy but after a quick email to Bosch they have confirmed that the front...

Re: Noisy Windscreen Wipers

I just came onto the forum to ask if anyone has an issue with noisy and judders wipers and low and behold there were these posts. Ive just replaced my front pair with Bosch "aerotwin" blades and I am amazed at the difference. I used the Bosch AP26U for the driver and the AP22U for the passenger. The...
