Has anyone noticed that the 5 seater has a bigger 3 accross seating than our UK 7 seater?

Look at the stepping space for rear passenger access, it seems huge. I would assume the 5 seater does not have this step space.

As we don't get the 5 seat in the UK, I can't find out the answer.

I think I found out the answer....

Couldn't find any interior pics of our 5seat but managed to find Tiguan L (5 seat Tiguan Allspace for china) and where we have our step panel for the 3rd row, there are storage bins.
