Had my Tic Tac (2.0TDI manual) since March of last year. Have done 11k and had its first service with SEAT in March.

There was some slow moving traffic two days ago and I noticed the classic burnt clutch smell.

I put it down to overheating as it was a warm day and slow moving traffic uphill.

3 days later after a short journey I noticed the same smell.

The clutch feels normal when I drive, but do I need to get the car checked out?

I'd get it checked as it shouldn't do that unless you drive with your foot sat on the clutch all the time

Never had this issue before with any car so hope to get it sorted soon.

I'm sure I read that the smaller TSI engines in the VW group suffer clutch problems like the 1L TSI
