Seen a new headline floating the airwaves with the upcoming release of E10 petrol in the UK (in lieu of E5)

E5 will now be moved to premium and E10 will be the regular fuel. This, apparently, also brings us in line with Europe.

Does anyone have any insight / articles to share about E10 petrol. Im interested to understand how 10% ethanol is better for your car than the previous 5%. Just curious.

I don't think there's any suggestion that E10 is better for your car, but it is better for the environment as it burns less carbon.

Look inside your fuel cap....it says E5 and E10

fair enough, looks like this is more hyped than it needs to be.
