Mi phone only just fits in the gap where the usb c port is how do you charge your phone so it doesn't sit touching your gear stick

I was given recently a MY21 Tarraco (while mine was repaired) and used the USB-C to lightning cable that came with my wife's iPhone 12 but that was until I sorted Wireless CarPlay?
