I've just noticed that the plastic wheel nut covers seem to have turned a shade of white. I'm not sure if the plastic has been bleached by the sun or maybe a reaction to some cleaning product.
Any ideas how to restore them? If not I'll buy some replacements.

The ones on my 64 plate Leon ST did exactly the same thing after a while…I think that replacement is the only practical option. Fortunately the ones on my 69 plate Tarraco are still OK for now.

You might get a new set on warranty
Is it every wheel that effected and also what wheel cleaner are you using.

Yes its every wheel affected. I have no idea what the local hand car wash uses, and as we dont seem to share a common language I wont be able to ask the guys....

A quick spray of WD40 and a light rub with a microfibre cloth, and they are like new. (not my idea, but I found it on another forum).
