Is there a way to buy a v11 sd card for those without a PC and slow as hell internet?
Yeah a dealership will be able to provide the latest card but new cards require pairing with the car that uses a diagnostics machine, so expect to pay around £130 for the total parts and labour!

The Tarraco will have the below build code:

77Q CD ROM/DVD/SD card: SD card (Europe), map updates for 1 year.

SO in theory they should provide the updated SDcard within the 12 months
Seat Tarraco Xcellence, 2.0L TDI , Manual

I think the VW ones are much more up to date than Seat V8 or whatever they’re on at the moment.

Just updated mine - thanks so much for the simple instructions Crumpet, the update includes a lot of new roads & estates being built at moment, whereas the v7 maps didn’t even have roads built a year ago

Hi,

I picked up our new Terraco initially at end of August, and have V7 GPS fitted to car, because it's a Motability car, I am unable to follow any instructions on here to do the download for the latest version, but I know V8 is available. When I spoke to dealer, their parts department have been informed by Seat that V7 is the 'current' version for using in UK. Can anyone give me information of who I or the dealer can contact to obtain V8.

I would do the download - motability won’t know you’ve updated yourself.

+1 and you can always put the v7 maps back on again if you save the original maps folder from the card somewhere!

I seem to have lost traffic alerts since updating.
Any one else found this? Admittedly it was annoying as it would tell me there was congestion in the opposite direction to which I was travelling however useful when it gets it right and for routing

Hi,
I have an SD card in both slots V7. Is this the norm? The wife’s Arona only has one card.
